What is voxtype-bin?
Voxtype turns speech into typed text: hold a push-to-talk hotkey, speak, and release, and the transcription is typed at your cursor or copied to the clipboard. Transcription runs locally through engines like Whisper or Parakeet rather than a cloud service, and it can automatically duck your music while you're dictating. It works across GNOME, KDE, Sway, Hyprland, and River.
