By using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms are intended to respect the rights of Omarchy, its authors, package maintainers, and third-party application owners.
1. What this site is
The Unofficial Omarchy App Store is an independent community directory. It presents public package information from the official Omarchy package repository in a searchable format and provides an unofficial educational checklist for people interested in contributing packages.
The site may link to official repositories, project websites, screenshots, videos, licences, and installation commands for convenience.
2. What this site is not
- It is not Omarchy, Omacom, DHH, an official package repository, or an official support channel.
- It is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Omarchy, Omacom, DHH, or listed application vendors.
- It does not host, sell, sign, audit, approve, or distribute Omarchy packages.
- It does not guarantee that a package is safe, current, compatible, available, or suitable for any purpose.
- The development checklist is general information, not an official contribution policy or a promise that a submission will be accepted.
3. Omarchy software and package-repository licences
Omarchy software and the public Omarchy package-repository materials are made available by their respective copyright holders under the licences included with those projects. At the time these Terms were last reviewed, the official Omarchy and omarchy-pkgs repositories published the MIT License.
Nothing on this site replaces, narrows, expands, sublicenses, or overrides those upstream licences. Any copied or adapted upstream software remains subject to its original copyright notices, licence text, attribution requirements, and warranty disclaimer. Users should review the current licence in the relevant upstream repository before copying, modifying, or distributing material.

4. Name, trademark, and brand
“Omarchy” is identified by its owner as a pending trademark with all rights reserved. This site uses the name only to truthfully identify the operating system and package ecosystem that the directory discusses. No ownership of the Omarchy name, wordmark, logo, trade dress, or goodwill is claimed.
Official Omarchy brand assets may have rules separate from the software licence. Their presence on an official public page does not place them in the public domain or grant this site a general brand licence. See the official Omarchy brand page ↗.
5. Package information and proprietary material
Package names, versions, descriptions, dependency information, source links, and similar catalogue facts may come from public repository metadata. The site claims no ownership over facts supplied by Omarchy, Arch Linux, the AUR, package maintainers, or application vendors.
Application names, trademarks, screenshots, videos, documentation, proprietary software, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are governed by their own terms and licences. Their appearance here is for identification, commentary, and informational linking; it does not imply endorsement and does not grant visitors permission to reuse them.
Rights holders may request correction, attribution, link removal, or removal of media by contacting the site operator through the X link below.
6. Site content
Except for upstream and third-party material, the site’s original text, organization, design, and code remain protected to the extent allowed by applicable law. Public access to the site does not transfer ownership. You may link to the site and use it for ordinary personal, educational, and package-research purposes, but you may not impersonate the site, misrepresent it as official, remove rights notices from copied material, or use it to infringe another party’s rights.
7. Accuracy, security, and external links
Information can become outdated between repository syncs. Always confirm package names, commands, permissions, checksums, licences, and contribution rules with the official source. Installing software changes your computer and may introduce security, privacy, stability, or data-loss risks. You are responsible for reviewing software before installation and for maintaining backups.
External websites are controlled by third parties. This site is not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, or terms.
8. Privacy and local checklist data
The site does not offer user accounts and does not ask for an email address. Checklist progress on the Develop for Omarchy page is stored locally in your browser. Verified screenshots may load from third-party project sites when a package profile is opened, and a YouTube video loads only after you press its play button. Those services may receive ordinary web-request information under their own privacy policies.
9. Listing claims and submitted material
“Claim this app” means asking the site operator to review a listing update. It does not transfer ownership, prove identity, create an official relationship, guarantee publication, or imply endorsement by Omarchy or an application vendor. The operator may request reasonable verification and may accept, edit, decline, or remove a submission.
By voluntarily sending text, corrections, screenshots, videos, logos, or other material for publication, you represent that you own the material or have permission to submit it. You retain your ownership, but grant the site operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, resize, crop, transcode, display, and distribute the submitted material only as reasonably needed to operate, describe, and promote the relevant listing and this directory.
Do not submit confidential information, personal data you lack permission to share, malware, deceptive material, or content that infringes another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. A contributor may request future removal through the contact link, although deletion from caches, backups, and third-party previews may not be immediate.
10. No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, compatibility, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, use, or system availability arising from use of or reliance on the site, linked resources, package information, commands, or software installations.
12. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated as the site or upstream projects change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For corrections, rights concerns, or other site questions, contact @jessyka_boat on X ↗. Do not send secrets, passwords, private keys, or confidential package-signing information.
