What is asusctl?
asusctl is a background daemon plus a set of command-line tools for managing ASUS ROG laptop hardware on Linux: keyboard backlight and per-key RGB lighting, custom fan curves, switching between integrated and dedicated GPU modes, VFIO passthrough toggling for VMs, AniMe Matrix display animations, and power-profile-triggered scripts. A separate companion app, rog-control-center, provides a graphical front end for it, but this package itself is the daemon and CLI layer.
