Install link-studio on Omarchy

Link Studio is an open-source, unofficial Linux app for controlling Insta360 Link webcams, filling the gap left by Insta360's Windows/macOS-only software. It gives direct access to the camera's pan, tilt, zoom, autofocus, and privacy-mode controls, plus its built-in AI tracking modes (like Whiteboard and DeskView), alongside live preview, H.264 recording, and local effects such as background blur and green screen. It's built with GTK4 and libadwaita, so it follows your desktop's light/dark theme, and it can also act as a virtual camera and offer optional offline transcription of voice notes.

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Run the install command:
    omarchy pkg add link-studio
  3. Check it landed. Pacman should list version 1.0.4-1:
    pacman -Qi link-studio
