What is dropbox-cli?
dropbox-cli is a command-line control script for the official Dropbox desktop client on Linux, used to start, stop, or check the status of the Dropbox sync daemon, manage selective sync exclusions, and throttle bandwidth, all from a terminal without opening a GUI. It's a companion to the main Dropbox app rather than a replacement for it.
