What is libretro-vice-x64-git?
This is the 'fast' Commodore 64 core from VICE-libretro, a RetroArch port of the VICE emulator, tuned for speed over full cycle accuracy. It plays standard C64 disk and tape images, supports ZIP archives and M3U multi-disk playlists, and offers save states and remappable controls. Like all VICE cores it's a pure emulation backend with no interface of its own — RetroArch provides the front end.
