What is localsend?
LocalSend lets you send files and messages between nearby devices - phones, laptops, desktops, whatever - over your local Wi-Fi, without needing the internet or any cloud account. It uses an encrypted REST API over HTTPS to move files directly between devices, and works across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Think of it as a free, cross-platform, privacy-respecting AirDrop.
