What is xpadneo-dkms?

xpadneo is a kernel driver that lets Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Elite Series 2 wireless controllers connect to Linux over Bluetooth with full feature support, not just basic button input. It adds rumble, proportional trigger feedback, battery-level reporting, and paddle button support that the generic in-kernel driver lacks. It started as a student project at fortiss GmbH (affiliated with TU Munich) and is packaged here via DKMS so the kernel module rebuilds automatically across kernel updates.
