What is yay?
yay is a command-line helper for Arch Linux that wraps pacman and adds support for the Arch User Repository (AUR). It resolves dependencies, downloads and lets you review PKGBUILDs before building, searches both official repos and the AUR in one command, and can track and update development (-git) packages. It's the de facto standard way Arch and Arch-based distros like Omarchy install community packages that aren't in the official repositories.
