What is asdcontrol?
asdcontrol is a small Linux utility for controlling the brightness of Apple's Thunderbolt-connected displays, specifically the Studio Display and Pro Display XDR. It talks to the monitor over its USB HID interface, letting you read the current brightness or set it to an absolute value or a relative adjustment from a terminal command or a bound hotkey.
