What is github-copilot-cli?

GitHub Copilot CLI brings GitHub's Copilot coding agent into the terminal, letting you describe what you want in natural language and have it read, edit, and run code in your project. It can pull in context from your GitHub repositories, issues, and pull requests, extends via MCP for custom tools, and previews every action for you to approve before it runs. It is entirely command-line, with no window of its own.
